DS Architects is an established architectural practice that traces back to Blomquist + Wark Architects, founded in 1976. We have operated continuously since then, formally changing our name to DS Architects in 2015.
Initially focusing on government and institutional clients, we have purposefully diversified over the years, developing valued relationships with various universities, schools, institutions, developers, private companies and co-ops.
DS Architects is known for the value that our project optimisation approach provides. With 25+ years of industry experience, Peter’s core expertise lies in designing and delivering education and tertiary sector projects that meet diverse needs. Heavily involved in stakeholder engagement and concept development, Peter guides a design process that is intentional and considered. He delivers uplifting designs, balancing creativity with functionality.
David’s 20+ years of experience covers a broad range of technical projects spanning complex tertiary education, research, laboratory and manufacturing/industrial projects. With strong technical knowledge and problem solving and design translation capability, David effectively adds value across all project phases, from design through to construction and project completion.
