Designed for the Faculty of Education for their K12 programme, this facility is based on the idea of a Holodeck.  It integrates extensive audio visual technology and movable building elements to change both the visuals and the physical space to create environments that support the subject being taught. Want to learn about the cosmos? 12 data projectors project seamless images onto the surrounding walls and floor to create an immersive star field environment; Kinetic sensors will allow the participants to interact with the images using their bodies / hands / feet.  Want to teach art?  Projection surfaces pivot to open up the facility to its surroundings and a new outside deck, expose sinks and reveal walls lined with pinnable surfaces.
